Hello newcomers! I'm Jacky … one of the Admins. I'm the one you contact for new fandoms, help, suggestions, feedback, etc. 

I've been reading (and writing a little) fanfic since 2000 when I fell in love with Kim/Kerry on ER. I had no idea what fanfic was, and when I went online to find out more about the characters, I found what I thought was an unfilmed script. It didn't take long to put the pieces together…and get sucked into hours upon hours of fanfic reading. 

I started L-word.com and had no fanfic archiving software, so I had a friend build me a basic archive. We then did the archive at myFandoms.com, but there are tech issues with that platform that really tied our hands. 

Fanfic.me is what I've been wanting for years – super easy. Really good looking. Great tools for writers and readers. AND we can make changes, additions, etc. 

One of my dreams is to ask Chad, another Admin, to develop a "trusted reader" network to help all readers find stories that they'll like more easily, based on what other readers suggest. It's not getting developed … yet … but someday.
